When was the last time you recommended someone try a company’s products or services? Do you remember what prompted you to do so? Sometimes we make recommendations based on need. If our friend, family member or co-worker needs a plumber and we happen to know one that charges reasonable rates, we are happy to recommend their service.

Other times, you’ve probably made recommendations just because you were so impressed with a business or their services. It could be, you were telling a story about a great experience you had, and you made a recommendation in the process. In both instances, you’re engaging in word-of-mouth advertising, and it is crucial to almost every kind of business.

Word-of-mouth advertising is unique because except in some pretty uncommon instances, businesses don’t fit it into their marketing budgets. If you are an online Aircraft Parts distributor or procurement service, you can’t make your customers talk to others in the industry about how great your business is.

You can however do everything in your power to prompt them to recommend you when an associate needs Bearings or Avionics equipment. How?

The most effective way is to provide the best possible selection, prices and of course, customer service. If you do everything in your power to ensure every customer isn’t just satisfied, but downright ecstatic about their purchase, you’ll reap the benefits of plenty of word-of-mouth advertising – and you will have earned it.
